What is Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin?

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are FDA-approved anti-wrinkle abobotulinumtoxinA injections proven to help smooth moderate to severe fine lines and wrinkles. Cosmetic botulinum toxin type A injections treatments soften and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in between the eyebrows (frown lines), across the forehead (forehead lines), and at the corners of the eyes (crows feet). Other common areas include the upper lip (lip flip), brow lift, and masseter (jaw muscle). Even if you have only mild wrinkles, these injections serve as a great preventative measure, effectively stopping wrinkles from getting any deeper or forming at all.

How it works

Wrinkles form as the muscles under our skin contracts. What is a treatment like?

Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are non-invasive treatments that are injected under the skin and into targeted muscles. Which product should I get?

All anti-wrinkle abobotulinumtoxinA injections are similar but there’s small differences between them, such as how soon they take effect, how long they last, etc. Your Renew MedSpa provider will educate you on the differences and help you choose which product to choose to meet your treatment expectations.

How soon will I see results?

After a treatment, you will start to notice changes about 3-5 days post-treatment with final results settling after 10-12 days. Results are temporary and touch-up treatments are needed 2-3 times per year to maintain results. Typically the younger you are, the longer your results will last.
